Since graduating from Penn State University's advanced Mechanical Engineering Program Ron has working in various facets of the Tool and Die industry gaining a well rounded understanding of all phases of the process from material acquisition to management of facilities and end use of tool and die components.
In 1989 Ron returned to Meadville Pennsylvania to serve as vice president in Wemco Tool's growing company. Having experienced the full life cycle of the tool and die process Ron was able to focus the companies efforts effectively and efficiently to insure customer satisfaction. This interest in customer service has provided their base of return customers with a sense of comfort and confidence that has fostered strong business relationships and friendships.
Ron's desire to return to his hometown was heavily influenced by his desire to see his children grow up surrounded by the same values and ideals as he had. Wemco Tool has been operated as a family business based on this same set of strong family values since 1977.
